Rural TourismFrancasca and Julia from Italy choose to spent their holidays in a village and learnt to make local handicafts made out of old waste clothes. They were impressed with the innovative use of waste clothes for recycling. In the picture Francasca is making a bedsheet from strips made out of used clothes.

Both Francasca and Julia were impressed with the local art and decided to take this art to their native land Italy. Being environmentally conscious, they believed that this is one of the most beautiful use used old clothes. Using Local handicraft skills for recycling products (as done in most small villages of Haryana) can go a long way in protecting environment and meeting human needs in an efficient way.
